Solo Show Stables was established in 1987 by Canadian rider Harold Chopping. Harold has had a successful career in both the hunter and jumper ring. He has ridden in many Nation's Cups representing the Canadian Equestrian Team, competed at three World Cup Finals, and was the alternate for the Barcelona Olympic Games. He has trained many riders to top results at premiere national horse shows.

Solo Show Stables is a top level hunter/jumper training and sales facility in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Our farm is situated in the heart of North Carolina's premiere horse country. We have a beautiful jumping arena with clever obstacles and gymnastics, ample groomed turnout, access to expansive sandy trails, and a large double-aisle show barn equipped with everything a horse and rider need. Enjoy the many benefits of our full service show stable with onsite staff housing so your horses are well supervised.

Solo is within driving distance of Raleigh (RDU Airport), Durham, Fayetteville (Airport), Chapel Hill and Cary. We are also conveniently located close to Duke University, Elon College, St. Andrews College, NC State University, UNC Chapel Hill, and UNC Greensboro.
